What’s Needed to Use Dribbleup?

Everything you need to get started.

Updated yesterday

Dribbleup is designed to be simple and fun to use at home. Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

1. A Dribbleup Product

Each product is designed to work with the Dribbleup app for skill-based training or fitness workouts. Whether you’re using the Smart Basketball, Smart Soccer Ball, Smart Weights, or another product, you’ll need the physical product nearby so your camera can track your movements.

2. The Dribbleup App

Download the free Dribbleup app from the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), or Amazon Appstore (Fire OS). The app is required for all training sessions.

3. A Compatible Device

You’ll need a phone or tablet that meets these minimum software requirements:

  • iOS 13+

  • Android 12+

  • Fire OS 8+

4. An All-Access Membership

Most live and on-demand sessions require an active Dribbleup All-Access Membership. If you’re not sure if you have one, you can check at account.dribbleup.com.

5. Enough Space to Move

Make sure you have about 6 feet (2 meters) of open space to train safely and get accurate tracking.

6. A Stable Stand or Surface

Your phone or tablet should be placed on a flat, stable surface with the camera facing you. A Dribbleup Stand is recommended but not required—you can also use a stack of books or tripod.

Optional: Cast to Your TV

You can cast your training sessions to a larger screen using Apple TV, Google Chromecast, or an HDMI adapter for an even better experience.
