Getting Started

The Dribbleup Smart Soccer Ball connects with the Dribbleup app to turn soccer practice into a dynamic, at-home training experience. When scanned, the app tracks movement and gives real-time feedback during live and on-demand drills designed to improve ball control, footwork, and overall performance.

To begin, you’ll need:

  • A Dribbleup Smart Soccer Ball

  • A phone or tablet (iOS 13+ or Android 12+)

  • The Dribbleup app downloaded and installed

  • A Dribbleup All-Access Membership for full access to training sessions

Note: The Smart Soccer Ball doesn’t use sensors or Bluetooth—it’s recognized visually by the app using your device’s camera.

Setting Up

  1. Inflate your ball

Your soccer ball is shipped inflated to regulation pressure, but pressure may shift in transit.

    • Size 4 or Size 5 Soccer Ball: 8.5–15.6 PSI

Use a standard sports ball pump with a needle to make any needed adjustments.

  2. Set up your space

Find a well-lit area with at least 6 feet (2 meters) of space. Place your phone or tablet securely on a stand and angle the camera toward your feet and the ball. Avoid backlighting and make sure the surface is smooth and safe for ball movement.

  3. Open the app and scan your ball

Follow the in-app prompts to scan your soccer ball. Make sure the entire ball stays within the on-screen circle during scanning for best results.

Choosing the Right Ball Size

  • Size 4 Soccer Ball: Recommended for players 12 and under

  • Size 5 Soccer Ball: Best for players age 13 and up
